I assume any person feeling drawn to me, and having made it this far into my website is a grown-ass adult and knows better than to send lewd, unbearably brief/long, or explicit emails, and I cherish you for it. Think "business proprietor" not "Tinder hook up" (but honestly why not just treat every woman with respect, regardless of circumstance?).
Screening
I get how scary it is these days to send private information via the amorphous interwebs. I could wax ecstatic all day about how much I value your privacy; and I really, truly do. But more than that, I value my career, my reputation, and my own time and privacy. It is counter-intuitive to think that I would use your information for nefarious (and time-consuming) purposes or use compromised services. (I use a VPN)
References
I accept references from trusted providers. You will need to provide their websites and a listed email address. Option two is to submit ID or employment verification. If you are uncomfortable divulging the minimum amount of information I need to safely, and with an open heart, offer my gifts to you, I encourage you to please not waste our mutual time, and move on. I consider asking me to be flexible with my screening the first sign of poor boundaries.
